I’ve been waiting for someone…somebody,  to give me something, a different type of something, a classy, elegant dress done with an unexpected hue, preferably done by non traditional European designer.

This evening Selita Ebanks checked all those boxes and then some, all while oozing regality and glamour.

Basically, she left her mark at Cannes in a custom gown by New York base designer Cadena Gabriela on her first appearance at this years festival.

It features a bright neon color, a ruched bodice, with sheer insert cut-outs, and an extended chiffon train cascading just below her derriere.

Her neck, shoulders and sheer back were adorned and draped with jewels sewn into to the fabric.

Fabulous rouge lips, flawless makeup, diamond flower chandelier earrings, and a black clutch stamp the look.

Just the other day at the New York Ballet spring opening gala model Chanel Iman wore Cadena Gabriela.

Now I need my cold water!!!! Thanks Selita!!

I’d wish she done something more with the hair, otherwise she’s fine.

Hot off the 2014 Dior cruise runway she wore the color block asymmetrical cut dress this evening. She’s the second to wear the collection. Princess Charlene was even faster, wearing it that very night at a cocktail reception hosted by Dior.

All the other accessories? Dior shoes DUH and Chopard blink blink.
