First the clothes, then the fragrances, and now the makeup. The word is Marc Jacobs will soon be putting his name on a color cosmetics collection that will find the designer breaking new ground for his brand.
WWD reported Tuesday that Jacobs will be hooking up with cosmetics retailer Sephora for the new line. “I see makeup, fragrance—everything, really—as an opportunity,” he said. “The idea of choosing a color for your lip, or an eyeliner—it’s just such a delight. The ritual of waking up and making those choices is something people really enjoy.”
There is no word yet on what exact product will be in store, or how much they will cost. We will keep you posted when more information becomes available.
