Hi ladies and gentlemen it’s JeanClaude COCO. I’ve been absent, but I had to fast forward in time to be with you all . For every time residents living in the northern hemisphere forward their clocks an hour in March they are instantly reminded, Spring is right around the corner. Which means, “I need to spring clean, out with the drab wintry outfits, and in with a fresh new, colorful wardrobe.” At BIAF it is our job to showcase all the trendy goodies every Fabulous guy and girl who are kin on fashion to incorporate into their own personal style for a colorful, fun and effortless season.
Denisio explains what she’s wearing
- Leopard Bolero is INC
- The top is actually a Silence and Noise dress from Urban Outfitters
- The skirt is vintage and I got it from a thrift store
- Necklace is also thrift.
“I’m currently obsessed with mixing prints, namely leopard and floral or other prints.”
JeanClaude: Fantastic…I like how the pleat and ruffles are two different design patterns, this season is all about mixing two different pattern to create a flirty look. Prime example is Tadashi Fall Winter 2012 (below)…more looks here
More of Denisio Trendy “Spring forward” looks
Leather is making a comeback. The classic leather pants is whats hot now! We saw it all over the runways of Paris and Milan. There are many ways to dress a nice leather pant. Denisio went feminine, soft floral, bold on top with a bright yellow blazer and an added color at the bottom.
Another way to dress it this season is how BIAF Editor-in-Chief Ms. Sai Sankoh did in a recent Outfit post. She wore it with a black Oscar de la Renta sheer lace cut out jacket with shinning black stones embellished in cross pattern with ruffle details lining the jacket.
If you are going to do a blazer this spring wear it like this. Usually with a bad blazer you end up looking manly and too structured. I like the puffy shoulders, and the shiny royal blue print. Drum roll…prints are here to stay which means stay wearing them, color block them and own it!!
