Fab Personal Stylista of the Day: The Elegant and always Chic Karen Darkwah

November 8, 2011 by Sai Sankoh
You should remember Karen Darkwah from Look of the day a couple of months ago called Look of the Day: Karen wears leather the right way. I was so impressed to see someone wear leather so effortlessly chic. She is simply fabulous, I had to make her Fab Personal Stylista of the Day!
I believe it’s important to create your own visual style and let it be unique and identifiable to others. I always stay true to myself and my style
I will describe my style as classic, elegant, regal, and timeless, but at the same time modern and fresh.
My biggest inspiration when it comes to my style is my mother. She was a seamstress by trade in Ghana. She designed and made all my dresses growing up. She is a woman of grace, class, and effortless beauty.
I believe it’s important for a woman to know her body and what looks best on her. I don’t dress to follow trends; I dress to accentuate my positives.
I’m always on the hunt for something FAB to incorporate in my closet
One of my mottos in life is that a girl should be two things: Classy and Fabulous at all times
I don’t dress to follow trends; I dress to accentuate my positives. I will describe my overall look as sophisticated, polished and chic.
Fashion is something that can be bought; Style one must possess.
One of the most important things she taught me when it comes to fashion is that it does not matter how much you spend on an outfit, but how you put it together.

I don’t let trends or what’s hot right now influence or take away from my personal style.
